Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is handled by ecloudolt.com, the commercial website of eCloud OLT Controller. It does not cover the management panel (the service ISPs subscribe to), which has its own conditions in the Terms of service.

Who is responsible

The data controller is eCloud. For any questions about this policy or about your data, write to us at [email protected].

What data we collect

You can browse the site without providing any data. We only collect personal data when you enter it in a form:

• Demo request: name, company, email, phone or WhatsApp (optional), country (optional), size of your network, OLT brands you use (optional), plan of interest, message (optional), and site language.
• Contact: name, company (optional), email, phone or WhatsApp (optional), reason, and message.

In addition, as with any website, the server receives your IP address and technical data from your browser. We use them as follows:

• Submission limit: the IP address is used in the server's memory to limit how many forms are sent per hour from the same connection. It is not stored in any database.
• Technical logs: the server and the proxy that publishes it keep access and error logs, with the IP address and date, to diagnose failures and attacks. They are rotated and deleted automatically.

What we use it for

• Responding to your demo request or your message and scheduling the meeting.
• Following up commercially on that inquiry.
• Protecting the site from abuse and bots.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and we do not subscribe you to any newsletter.

How it reaches us and where it is stored

Forms are not stored in a database on the site: they are forwarded immediately to the sales team by email and/or by Telegram. Your inquiry remains in that mailbox and in that chat.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as the commercial conversation lasts and for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or a law requires us to keep them longer.

Analytics

To understand how the site is used, we use two tools, neither of which uses cookies:

• Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts visits, pages, countries, and load times without cookies and without identifying individual people.
• Our own conversion counter: totals, per day, how many times each site feature is used (for example, how many people open the demo form). It only stores the event name, the page, and the language: nothing that identifies a person.

If your browser has Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track enabled, our own counter records nothing.

Who we share it with

Only with the providers that make the site work and that process the data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, which protects the site and delivers it to your browser.
• The email provider through which we receive the forms.
• Telegram, if the form is forwarded through that channel.

Some of these providers process data outside your country. We chose them for their security measures and give them only what is necessary to provide the service. We may also disclose data if a competent authority requires it in accordance with the law.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to tell you what data of yours we hold, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can object to its use for commercial follow-up. Write to us at [email protected] from the email address you used in the form; we will respond within a reasonable time.

If you are in Venezuela, these rights are grounded in the habeas data right in Article 28 of the Venezuelan Constitution.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, the forms are protected against bots, and the server runs with the minimum permissions. No system is infallible: if we detect an incident that affects your data, we will notify you.

Minors

The site is intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this same page with its update date.
